AXIS Dance Company and our Guest Artistic Director Marc Brew are seeking male and female dancers with and without physical disabilities for 40-week contract beginning in August 2016 and/or January 2017.
AXIS Dance Company exists to change the face of dance and disability. The company is looking for dancers and movers that are highly motivated, have strong performance, teaching, and communications skills, and are committed to participating fully in our extensive program of ambassadorial work worldwide. Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of the creation and performance of our repertory and delivery of our extensive dance education and outreach program for people of all ages with and without disabilities.
Those interested in auditioning, should have an impressive natural performance style and/or at least 2 years of professional dance experience with training in contemporary dance, improvisation, or other creative skills. You will need to be very motivated, able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and show that you are able to represent the company well, whenever you are on tour, performing, and teaching. Island Moving Company
Island Moving Company (IMC) is auditioning for professional contracts available for male and female dancers with strong classical ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary techniques and partnering experience required.
The contract period would be June 2016 - July 2015 / 30+ weeks annually. IMC's season includes repertory, site-specific, and theatrical-based performances with touring opportunities.

Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers (KYL/D) seeks both male and female dancers with a strong technical base and creative appetite. KYL/D's is holding an "audition-shop" from July 18-22, 2016. The class will take place from 10:15 - 11:45 AM, Monday-Friday. These “audition-shops” are open to the public, and while dancers interested in working with the company are encouraged to attend all week for maximum exposure, dancers may also choose to drop in for just one day, as scheduling allows. KYL/D is a Philadelphia-based contemporary dance company, under the leadership of Artistic Director, Kun-Yang Lin. In addition to its Philadelphia season/s, the company tours internationally and nationally. The company works 32-38 weeks per year, 15-20 hours per week (including company class). Dancers are paid at a competitive hourly rehearsal rate, in addition to performance fees. Other benefits include free access to studio space when available, company classes, a platform to share choreographic work at the InHale Performance Series, and opportunities for additional teaching and outreach pay. KYL/D is a small company of diverse, compelling dance artists, capable of both complementing each other as a cohesive unit, and emerging as strong solo artists.
