AXIS Dance Company exists to change the face of dance and disability. The company is looking for dancers and movers that are highly motivated, have strong performance, teaching, and communications skills, and are committed to participating fully in our extensive program of ambassadorial work worldwide. Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of the creation and performance of our repertory and delivery of our extensive dance education and outreach program for people of all ages with and without disabilities.
Those interested in auditioning, should have an impressive natural performance style and/or at least 2 years of professional dance experience with training in contemporary dance, improvisation, or other creative skills. You will need to be very motivated, able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and show that you are able to represent the company well, whenever you are on tour, performing, and teaching. DIAVOLO | Architecture In Motion® seeks male and female dancers to join the touring ensemble to perform, choreograph, collaborate, and teach. Dancers must have a strong background in modern dance, partnering, improvisation, and acrobatics. Major commitment in Los Angeles with travels all over the world. Full Radius Dance is holding auditions at The Atlanta Ballet Powers Ferry Center (located at 2000 Powers Ferry Road, SE Marietta, GA 30067)for dancers with and without physical disabilities. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to: 1) work within a collaborative environment; 2) follow directions and apply corrections; 3) show respect for the rehearsal process, for fellow dancers and the artistic director; and 4) demonstrate good body awareness and, if used, chair control. Dancers who possess an adventurous spirit are particularly suited for the work of Full Radius Dance.
As dance training opportunities for persons with physical disabilities are extremely limited, no previous formal dance training is required. Dancers without physical disabilities should have a professional level of modern dance technique.
Giordano Dance Chicago (GDC) is holding auditions. GDC consists of ten dancers of five men and five women. Male and female dancers for the main company must be at least 22 years of age. Dancers must have a strong ballet and jazz technique. Salaried non-union contracts are offered, and contracts will run August through June. The company rehearses in Chicago and tours nationally and internationally. Giordano II positions are available starting at 22 years of age.

Island Moving Company (IMC) is auditioning for professional contracts available for male and female dancers with strong classical ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary techniques and partnering experience required.
The contract period would be June 2016 - July 2015 / 30+ weeks annually. IMC's season includes repertory, site-specific, and theatrical-based performances with touring opportunities.

Colin Connor, incoming Artistic Director of Limón Dance Company, is seeking MALE and FEMALE dancers to join the Company for the 2016/17 Performance and Touring Season. Repertory includes works by José Limón, Kate Weare, and Colin Connor. Company members are cultural ambassadors and, as such, participate in arts education activities and community engagement across the U.S. and around the world.
The ideal dancer must be mature, dedicated, eager to learn, musical, a fantastic mover with strong partnering skills. Experience/familiarity with Limón technique strongly recommended. Paid positions are available as well as unpaid apprenticeship positions. Compensation based on experience.
