Ballet ADI is auditioning dancers for its performances on May 8 and 9, 2015 of a new work choreographed by Artistic Director Runqiao Du, a former principal dancer with TWB and Suzanne Farrell Ballet. Majority of rehearsals will take place in January 2015. Remaining rehearsal schedule TBD. Dancers must have extensive professional ballet training. Performance stipend provided.
The performances are double-billed with a new work by Jodi Melnick, and will be presented as part of ADI’s Performance Series in the Solange MacArthur Theater.

Ballet des Amériques is looking for classically trained male dancers for its professional dance company. Candidates should also be comfortable with neoclassical, contemporary and modern techniques and works. Knowledge of African and Afro-Caribbean dance styles would be advantageous.
Ballet des Amériques engages dancers who grasp and appreciate the pedagogical, aesthetic and ethical principles of its organization as whole and who are willing to commit to their realization in the dance company.

Dancing People Company (DPC) seeks male and female dancers for paid work beginning January 2015. This is a paid position for the final 12 weeks of DPC's season, beginning in mid-January and continuing through mid-May with some weeks off during that period. The contract will be renewed for future seasons if mutually desirable.
The ideal candidate has good body lines, coupled with a suppleness of movement and training in various release techniques. Partnering skills of a Contact Improvisation-style are a must. DPC dancers must be able to learn and retain set choreography quickly and accurately, yet also have a desire to explore through improvisation.
Initial audition by DVD or reel, potential candidates must do a final audition in Ashland, OR.

Giordano Dance Chicago is holding auditions. Male and female dancers for the main company must be at least 22 years of age. Dancers must have a strong ballet and jazz technique. GDC consists of ten dancers, five men and five women. Salaried non-union contracts are offered. The company tours nationally and internationally. Giordano II positions are available starting at 20 years of age. Though unpaid, Giordano II rehearses with the Company daily, and learns the Giordano repertoire.

Keshet Dance Company is auditioning male and female dancers for the 2016-2017 season. 52-week salaried positions, includes benefits.
Repertory and Apprentice positions include daily company classes, rehearsals, performances, teaching/mentoring, outreach programming and publicity work related to productions and overall organizational activities. Strong foundation in ballet and contemporary required. Additional skills in improvisation, dance education and/or social service/mentorship a plus, but not a requirement.

Oklahoma City Ballet is holding auditions for the 2015-2016 performance season. Auditioning dancers should bring a full body dance shot, headshot, and resume to the audition. Ladies should be prepared to dance center on pointe.
Interested applicants are encouraged to audition in person by attending one of the open auditions. However, if your schedule does not permit you to attend one of the scheduled auditions, you may send a DVD. DVD's should include a minimum of one classical variation (ladies on pointe) and one contemporary variation, in addition to basic classroom center work, and should be mailed with resume, headshot, and full body dance shot to the address below care of Jacob Sparso, Ballet Master. You will then be notified by Oklahoma City Ballet if we would like to schedule an audition with you during company class. Auditions during company class will be by invitation only.
OKC Ballet offers 30 week contracts with competitive salaries, company paid health insurance and physical therapy. Past repertoire includes Balanchine, Arpino, Tudor, Nicolo Fonte, Jessica Lang, Helen Pickett, Amy Seiwert, Alan Hineline, Matthew Neenan, Stanton Welch, Twyla Tharp and full length classics.

The 2014/15 International Audition tour holds auditions for all three of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) School professional training programs. The full-time Ballet Academic Program combines first rate academic education with the highest quality of dance training for students from grades 6 to 12. Prospective students also have two opportunities to audition at the graduate level: the RWB School Aspirant Program and the RWB School Teacher Training Program. The Aspirant Program is a two year full-time program that provides experienced dancers the opportunity to expand their repertoire, refine their technique and gain valuable performance experience to launch their professional career. The Teacher Training Program is a three year full-time program that offers the finest pedagogical, practical and interpersonal skills for a career as a dance educator.
Pre-registration is recommended and prospective students are encouraged to register now. Pre registrations are accepted in person, by email, or by post. The RWB School also accepts walk up auditions the day-of and auditions by DVD are also accepted.

The Dancing Wheels Company, America’s first, professional, physically integrated dance company, is currently seeking to hire qualified male and female dancers for immediate positions. Dancing Wheels is a national touring company that works with highly acclaimed choreographers each year. Most recent works include full-length pieces from Donald McKayle, Dianne McIntyre, Nai-Ni Chen, Christopher Fleming, Michael Uthoff, Peter Kalivis, and David Rousseve.

The Washington National Opera seeks 6 soloist dancers for Cinderella (3-4 men and 2-3 women—divisi tentative and subject to change).
Dancers must have daytime weekday and weekend availability for rehearsals.
Dancers should have strong Contemporary and Ballet training. No pointe work will be required. Acrobatic skills are a plus but not mandatory nor necessary to audition. Some partnering/lifts will be involved and dancers may work with props. Dancers must be able to wear and maneuver large costume pieces.
Please bring soft dance slippers and wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing.
