The Dancing Wheels Company, America’s first, professional, physically integrated dance company, is currently seeking to hire qualified male and female dancers for the 2017/18 season. There is an immediate opening for a wheelchair dancer. Dancing Wheels is a national touring company that works with highly acclaimed choreographers each year. Felice Lesser Dance Theater seeks male & female ballet & modern dancers of major company calibre for the World Premiere of LIGHTNING at The New 42nd Street, the week of February 6-12, 2017. LIGHTNING a dance & video work by Felice Lesser, to a score by Slovenian composer Borut Krzisnik, will deal with contemporary issues (inclusion, borders, global warming, terrorism, technology). Island Moving Company (IMC) seeks male dancers with strong classical ballet, modern, contemporary techniques and partnering experience. Five Week Contract to begin October 31 through December 4, with the possibility of it extending into the full season.
IMC's season includes repertory, site-specific, and theatrical-based performances with touring opportunities.
