American Repertory Ballet (ARB), based in New Brunswick, NJ, is holding auditions for its main company as well as its summer intensive.

If you are interested in joining the main company, there is an audition scheduled for February 21, 2016 from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM at New York City Center Studios. Those auditioning should bring their resume, a headshot, a dance photo, and the $20.00 audition fee. The audition fee may be in the form of cash or check, if check, it should be made out to "American Repertory Ballet."
All auditions are open to female and male dancers ages 18 to 25 ONLY with a strong classical ballet training in the Vaganova Method. Men must have partnering experience.
Online auditions are also available by emailing a video link (Youtube ONLY please ) of a solo classical variation or work in ballet class. No group videos, please. No need to send modern or contemporary work.
In addition send only 2 photos: a head shot and first arabesque in leotard and tights (ladies should be in pointe shoes; gentlemen should be in tights). No costumes please.

Charlotte Ballet is a world class repertory dance ensemble that performs classic, contemporary, and cutting-edge dance with virtuosity, energy, and artistic excellence for local, statewide, and national audiences. The Georgia Ballet, based in Marietta, GA, is a resident professional company with an ever-growing repertoire of classical and contemporary works includes ballets from such masters as George Balanchine and Marius Petipa as well as new choreography. Giordano Dance Chicago (GDC) is holding auditions. GDC consists of ten dancers of five men and five women. Male and female dancers for the main company must be at least 22 years of age. Dancers must have a strong ballet and jazz technique. Salaried non-union contracts are offered, and contracts will run August through June. The company rehearses in Chicago and tours nationally and internationally. Giordano II positions are available starting at 22 years of age.

Houston METdance is seeking dancers for its 2016-17 season. Dancers must be 21 years old or older and proficient in ballet, modern, contemporary, and jazz. Contracts are available from September 2016-September 2017, with a 32 week guarantee.

Dancers will audition for the opportunity to work closely with renowned artists such as Contemporary Program guest choreographers Ballet BC Resident Choreographer Cayetano Soto, Colombo-Belgian choreographer Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Belgian designer and choreographer Stijn Celis. The Improv Traditions & Innovations guest artists will include Harvard University PhD candidate Lizzy Cooper Davis and two-time Fullbright Fellow Award recipient Nia Love, among others. Milton Myers, faculty member of The Ailey School and Juilliard will lead the Contemporary Program in his 30th year; Improv Traditions & Innovations: From Ring Shout to Blues to Jazz will be led by Urban Bush Women founder Jawole Willa Jo Zollar.
The School at Jacob’s Pillow offers an incomparable experience in its immersive Festival environment. Program participants train six days a week with world renowned artists, attend Festival performances and master classes, study in the internationally regarded Archives, and live on the historically significant grounds of Jacob’s Pillow. Alumni of The School appear in Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch,” on Broadway, and in major companies worldwide. Last year, 29 alumni of The School returned as Festival artistic directors, choreographers, and performers.
Contemporary Program auditions are open to advanced dancers, ages 15 and up. Improv Traditions & Innovations Program auditions are open to curious choreographic-minded dance artists, ages 18 and up. No pre-registration is required. Dancers below the age of 18 will require a waiver to be signed by a guardian. A $15 cash fee is required for all audition participants.

Milwaukee Ballet is seeking an experienced male dancer (minimum height 5'10") for its 2016/17 season. Rehearsals and performances will take place in Milwaukee, WI. Milwaukee Ballet is an AGMA company offering contracts of up to 31 weeks, with health and dental benefits and a 403b retirement contribution. A staple of the San Francisco dance community for more than 20 years, Smuin Ballet pushes the boundaries of contemporary ballet within a distinctly America style, combining classical ballet training, technique, and artistry with uncommon physicality and expression. Recent repertoire includes works by: Michael Smuin (founder), Amy Seiwert (choreographer in residence), Jiří Kylián, Helen Pickett, Trey McIntyre, Val Caniparoli, Ma Cong, Garrett Ammon, Adam Hougland, Darrell Grand Moultrie and others.
Smuin Ballet offers 35-40 week competitive dancer contracts, presenting approximately 70 performances per season.
The Ballet is offering company audition on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2121 Market Street in San Francisco, CA. The audition is from 1:30 - 4:30 PM with registration at 1:00 PM.
