Grassroots Campaign

If traveling to Washington, DC, is not an option, many opportunities exist for you to set up grassroots meetings, or meetings in your home district. Several “Home District Work Periods” are built into the congressional calendar. These are prime opportunities for arts organizations to set up meetings with their Representative and Senators in nearby district offices. Again, Dance/USA will assist in this process and help prepare you with talking points and tips for the visit.
