dance anywhere 2012

What if the whole world stopped to dance? Well, it will! And you’re invited to participate!

Join dance anywhere in its 8th annual dance anywhere day (on March 30, 2012) and transform public spaces and everyday relations into vehicles of inspiration!

Every year dance anywhere encourages dancers world-wide to synchronize their calendars and watches and simultaneously spread dancing images into every corner of our community landscapes across the globe. Dancers, students, seniors, artists, business men and dreamers alike put aside their daily grind and unleash their moving creativity in schools, museums, parks, boardwalks, office buildings, subways, and anywhere their dancing bodies will fit.

Every year thousands of people from Istanbul, Buenos Aires, Estonia, and around the world participate! Visit the dance anywhere's website to create a profile and mark your location on the interactive map!

Dances can be choreographed or improvised, deeply thought out or totally spontaneous. If you’re in rehearsals you can just shoot a photo or video. If you’re at work take a coffee/dance break. If you’re teaching - do it with your class!
