The simplest way to get to the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City is to use the Metrorail system. Follow the signs inside the airport to the adjacent Metro station. After purchasing a fare card, board either the Blue line (in the direction of Largo Town Center) or the Yellow line (in the direction of Mt. Vernon Square/Fort Totten). MARC Trains provide service to the BWI Marshall Rail Station, where free shuttles serve the airport terminal. Shuttle stops are located on the lower level terminal roadway in between door numbers 1 & 2, 8 & 9, 14 & 15, and 17 & 18. The BWI Rail Station is located one mile from the terminal building. Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Bus Service
Metro now offers BWI Express Metro bus service between BWI Marshall and the Greenbelt metro station. The service provides a direct connection between BWI Marshall and the Greenbelt Metro Station. The BWI Express/B30 service runs every 40 minutes, 7 days a week to the Greenbelt Metro Station, which is located on the Green Line of the Washington Metro System.
