Dance/USA opposes any legislation that allows for the discrimination of individuals for any reason, such as the recently passed legislation in North Carolina and Mississippi. Policies like these are in direct conflict with Dance/USA’s Core Values.

Dance/USA is committed to honoring, nurturing and advancing dance through the lens of diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity in all aspects of its programming, services and organization. Dance/USA stands with our members and the dancemakers who continue to advocate for policies and legislation that support civil rights, equitable business practices, and respect for others.
