Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company is looking for Two highly skilled female-identifying dancers with experience in acting and singing. Tentative start date is May 7, 2018. This is approximately a 25-week salaried position with full health benefits.

Spend a dynamic summer studying with directors and artists from Dance Theatre of Harlem, Koresh Dance Company, Bruce Wood Dance and ICONS, as well as, award-winning contemporary choreographers, CityDance Conservatory Ballet Master Stanislav Issaev and other renowned Vaganova teachers. 

Led by Artistic Director Lorraine Spiegler, CityDance prepares young dancers for 21st century careers with specialized training, rich performance opportunities, and strong connections to the professional dance world.

Intensives are ideal for serious dancers, ages 8-20, interested in a challenging exploration of classical and contemporary training with daily classes in ballet, pointe, pas de deux, modern, contemporary, jazz, and African culminating in an end of intensive performance.  Other highlights include masterclasses with guest artists and choreography workshops.

To be considered for the Trainee Program, dancers must attend the Summer Intensive Program to learn repertory. The Summer Intensive Program (ages 12-21) includes ballet, pointe, partnering, variations, men’s technique, jazz, modern, character dance, enrichment courses, and a performance opportunity.

Verb Ballets is a contemporary ballet company located in Shaker Heights, Ohio (just minutes from downtown Cleveland, Ohio). Verb Ballets presents dynamic programming through bold artistry, unique styles and technical excellence that captivates a broad audience. Verb Ballets is seeking dancers for annual 10-11 month contracts that include fringe benefits and a one week paid vacation. Relocation assistance is available. Verb Ballets' Trainee Program is geared for students ages 16 and older who are preparing for a professional dance career.  The Trainee Program seeks to develop young aspiring professional dancers into professional dancers through a carefully and individualized study plan. Trainees participate in company classes and rehearsals while having the opportunity to perform with Verb Ballets during the season and work with guest choreographers. Trainees also work with the company dancers in educational and community outreach activities throughout the year. The personal attention and guidance provided by Producing Artistic Director and Associate Director help to prepare and guide each student for their dance future. Trainees who are invited back for a second year and complete two consecutive years of study in this program will receive a certificate of training upon completion of their second year. This is a tuition based year-round program for a maximum of two years. Students are selected to participate in the Trainee Program by audition. Submission must include headshot, resume and a YouTube or Vimeo link showing dancers abilities prior to audition invitation. Must have a strong background in ballet technique.
